Jocelyn Tsaih
Identity and human connection lie at the heart of Jocelyn Tsaih’s artistic practice. Working across painting, sculpture, murals, and illustration, she explores aspects of the shared human experience through a visual language that is both playful and introspective.
Born in Taiwan, raised in Shanghai, and now based in New York, Tsaih brings together cultural perspectives that shape her reflections on belonging, emotion, and personal identity. Her work often features recurring figures and symbolic forms that act as vessels for exploring vulnerability, relationships, and inner thought.
With a background in graphic design from the School of Visual Arts, Tsaih’s practice merges illustration and fine art. Through bold color, layered compositions, and fluid forms, she constructs imaginative spaces where personal narratives and universal emotions intersect.
