Tania Whalen is a British ceramic artist from London, & is currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She has a degree in Fine Arts, but she is mostly self-taught, constantly upskilling and improving her craft through workshops and dedicated practice.

Vessels in Texture is a working series in my exploration of form and surface texture. Initially inspired by landscapes with raw, rough craggy surfaces, the pieces have evolved into sculptural shapes shifting over time...

Tania’s work has been featured in Elle Decoration Spain “La Ceramica Habla” Ceramics Speak, and in Arquictectura y Diseno ‘En Toda su Crudeza’ In all its rawness, for the creators section in 2023.

She has participated in various group shows including the 2022 '1000 VASES' at Galerie Joseph Paris, France.
